  1. The message from the International President

Advent is our time for quiet reflection and spiritual preparation for the coming of the birth of our Savior. I pray that during the busy Christmas season you all are taking time for quiet meditation and… “Let every heart prepare Him room”.

During the quiet of the night while the birth of our Savior occurs in the little town of Bethlehem a bright star guides three wise men as angels guide simple shepherds to this tiny newborn baby lying in a manger. Just as the three wise men come bearing gifts for the new born King, may we all bring Christ the King our gifts from CICIAMS. Our gifts of published Statutes and Standing Orders, the progression of our next World Congress in Croatia, the successful Asian Regional Conference in Singapore, the successful Catholic Nurses Guild of India’s Conference, the tremendous growth in membership in the National Association of Catholic Nurses, USA, Representation at WHO and the UN NGO/DPI and each and every individual national, local and individual productive action which brings glory to the name of God.

May all of you and your families be blessed with love, joy, peace and glowing health during this holy season and through out the New Year.

God bless,

Marylee J. Meehan

International President of CICIAMS
